01 — Why VerdisGrow

Two gaps in the seed trade. One company built to close them.

Commercial seed conglomerates optimise for shelf life, not flavour. VerdisGrow was built for everyone that decision leaves behind.

The Indigenous Advantage

Most commercial seed still comes from costly F1 hybrids, bred for long-distance transit durability rather than taste. Home gardeners, urban horticulturists and smallholder farmers consistently prefer Desi varieties for their superior culinary flavour, aroma, tenderness and native pest resilience. VerdisGrow tests, cleans, treats and packages purity-certified Desi seed with guaranteed high germination, typically above 85%.

B2B Commercial Nursery Partnership

Plug-plant nurseries run on razor-thin seedling mortality margins — one weak seed lot and the whole batch is at risk. VerdisGrow supplies verified, high-germination seed lots directly to nursery operators, cutting germination failures and building the kind of steady, recurring order volume a nursery can plan a season around.

01

Intake & Quality Testing

Sourced seed lots undergo purity and initial moisture testing in the in-house quality control lab.

02

Fine Cleaning & Gravity Separation

Chaff, broken seed, weed seed and light-weight non-viable seed are removed using screen air-separators and gravity tables.

03

Protective Seed Treatment

Uniform coating with biological antagonists or safe contact protectants shields against soil-borne damping-off fungi.

04

Moisture Extraction

Controlled drying brings moisture below 8% without thermal damage to the embryo.

05

Automated Packaging

High-speed Form-Fill-Seal (FFS) lines pack seed into laminated, moisture-proof aluminium foil sachets — 5g, 10g, 20g, 50g and 100g.
